Hey mate nothin came out in the way of bushes etc etc. ive gotten the bottim bolt through, the big one that goes all the way through. but i have the alternator bolted to the top braket, but i can only get 2 holes wont line up on the block. with made me think is a 2H Alt different from a 12H-T?

Not picking on you but that didn't make sense.

Have you removed the alternator bracket off the engine block?
And if so why?

Have you tried the original alternator bracket with the new alternator?

Sorry bout that last post fellas was tired cranky and really didnt wanna be on the computer, hence why it didnt make sence.

Answer to Ruffy's Qn, i took the top bracket (belt adjuster bracket thing) off the block because it was taking to so long to undo the 12mm bolt that holds the alt to the bracket, at the time it was easier to undo the whole bracket.

But its all good i got it on!!!! it was really easy,

1. I bolted the adjuster bracket (top bracket) back on to the block.
2. Bolted alternator to top bracket
3. Loosend bolts holding bottom bracket to block
4. Slid the big bolt through (one that holds alt to bottom bracket
5. Adjusted belt up, and tightened all bolts

  YAY I HAVE FULL POWER AGAIN

Sorry for my dodgy post Ruffy

Thanx Heaps
