high mount how much $$$$????
a mate has a m8274 high mount which he doesn't want anymore and i am going to to take it off his hands. what would one be worth 2nd hand? it is an early model (late 80's) and has an oil leak so i guess i'll be putting a kit thru it. it also has half a drum of cable which will be getting replaced too.
thanks, Dan.
thanks, Dan.
..
I sold my older style high mount for $500. It needed a few things done to get it working again. I didn't have the time to do them so..
Give him $200 and a carton if you feel bad. You may find real beat up ones for $300 or so, but never for $100.

I don't think he's complaining, I think he's saying he thinks his mate is being too generous..?bogged wrote:he wants 100 bux for something thats $2500 new, that you could spend a couple of hunge on and sell for a grand, and your complaining?mule75 wrote:he wants 100 bucks but i was thinking he was a bit too generous.
I would just say, "are you sure?" a few times, give him the hundred, and take it
This is not legal advice.
Tell him you think it's worth a bit more than that, Give him a cupla hunjy and some boxes and promise to pull him out with it when he's stuckchimpboy wrote:I don't think he's complaining, I think he's saying he thinks his mate is being too generous..?bogged wrote:he wants 100 bux for something thats $2500 new, that you could spend a couple of hunge on and sell for a grand, and your complaining?mule75 wrote:he wants 100 bucks but i was thinking he was a bit too generous.
As far as an indecent proposal goes, I'd accept nothing less than $100,000 to tolerate buggery. Any less and it's just not worth the psychological trauma.
