Nice Bar Patrolden. I'll be looking for a bar like yours too when I can afford it (have to sell my other Patrol 1st). So far the only people I've found online that make nice bars are ontrak 4x4 in Victoria (very similar to what you have). I've been considering driving to Vic to pick one up when the time comes. Couple of questions though. Is 80lsy_gq in the business of making these bars?(cause if he is I'm intersted). What sort of price range do these type of bars usually sell for? Is there anybody else in Sydney (or NSW) that makes bars as nice as patrolden's ?

He makes them, cost is 350ish for a rear bar which is a bargin, add freight say less than a hunge and your laughing. half the price of a cheezy or ontrack rear bar

i used 10mm plate as the mounts and incorporated some tow points into them by making them stick out past the bar, then oxying a hole in each side.

The pipe is 48mm outer diameter with a 3mm wall, so should be strong enough for my useage.

The side bars are then mounted back onto the chassis by use of plates and bolts.

Retained the original tow bar.

I have used some chequer plate on top of the bar to form a step (not in pic) from a side step, which looked good.

Just need to get some LED's to fit into the bar.

Here are a couple of pics.
