Hi All,
I got a battery of one of my mates. It is a power beat Made in NZ looked at web page didnt look like a battery producer.
The battery has 12 cells. I know that you are thinking its 24volt because each cell holds about 2.1 volts but its not.
There is one neg terminal and a strange set up on pos. There is 2 small positive terminal and 1 large one.
1 small is linked to the large one. there is a module that joins the other terminals together.
Its only 12 volts
Apprently this is a discharge managment system. Also there is a lead from the module to the neg terminal.
ANY IDEAS

We use a 16v battery in the racecar. It has 1 negative terminal, and a positive terminal on the 6th cell, and another positive on the 8th cell.
You hook up the ignition system to the 16v, and everything else to the 12v.
Is that similar?
