Hi all, I'm very dissapointed with the stoping power of my Gen1. Does anybody know any way to improve it drastically? I heard that the disks and brake calipers from a V6 3.0L is a complete bolt on. Is that correct? Also is any other mod to fix that? My brake pump is new etc.
Thanks

Yes you can upgrade to the Gen 1 or Gen 2 V6 twin pot calipers and it is a bolt on job. You will need the larger 23.88mm master cylinder as well.
A few of the US guys have done this and they report a big improvement in braking ability.
If your going to do this then you may as well swap over the front diff and CV's as it is a good strength upgrade allround. If you can find a Gen 1 V6 wreck (with a good front end) you should be able to buy all the bits as a package.
And you can run the ARB front locker
