2.6 sump

Post by Roga »

I am fitting a 4g54 2.6 engine to my early model pajero and I have just realised that the sump is different to the one on the engine I am using (L200) as the sump needs to be at the back not the front .
Are these sumps for pajeros hard to find? or am I better off making one.
And does the dipstick position change?
Anyone got a sump and pickup for sale cheap that can be bothered to send to New Zealand?

oil pickups shouldnt behard to find, i suggest trying your wreakers. and give mitsu a ring for a price on a genuine one might be the same price by the time you find one and have it shipped over.
