My gq 2.8 did 750 thou of hard work. I had the 3 litre petrol befor that and did 415 thou hard on it as well. I traded it in on the 2.8 9 years ago and it was still running around town up until a couple of years ago. Heaven only knows how many it ended up with.
Neither of these vehicles gave an ounce of trouble other than a new zorst system on the petrol. Both were well serviced.
My bud has 640 thou on his 4,2 and still going strong with very little attention required.
almost forgot, both my patrols did need new clutch plates around the 400 thou mark. :lol:

i think its about time to revive this thread :D mine just ticked over 90000 04 Gu Ute with plenty of kms to go!

got a mate with a gq thats done over 850kms hasnt rebuilt it. uses it as his roo shooter buggy and it looks like biggest heap of shit ever! he rekons it goes as hard as it did when he first got it so thats saying something. :armsup:

so..... who can top 850000kms?

TB42 on Gas, 365,000 runs great, uses no oil, slight rear main leak, love it. :D

i sold a shorty gq td42 with 330,000 on it it ran better when i sold it than when i bought it at 233,000 and it ran better than my new gu with 163,000 on the clock .Good ol nissans arn't even run in till 300,000

serviced every 5000ks doesnt use a drop of oil..
