lots of welding expertise... to weld onto the cast iron diffs you need to be a good welder... something about heating, THEN welding, then heating again to make sure the weld takes. Other than that, it couldn't be too hard could it? Shock mounts, spring mounts/retainers, 3 link setup.... *dreams*

edit: probably easier to just go ahead and buy a GQ then...

The only reason I would consider it is because I can't have a GQ. If I could have a GQ it wouldn't even cross my mind....

easiest way to do it and the only practical way is to put a pair of GQ diffs with all the coil mounts and link mounts etc all on them already.

that way u get a wider diff ( better tack ) a stronger pair of diffs, and you dont need to do anywhere near the welding... you would save yourself about 2/3 of the welding.

on mq diffs, you would spend loads of time and loads of money and would only gain a few inches of down travel :roll:
