Gq front tail shaft spining in 2wd
Gq front tail shaft spining in 2wd
Today i drove 35km to uni and everything was fine. Then an hour later i drove another 10km to work and noticed a vibration. Goy out and pushed the gq forward and noticed that the front tailshaft was also turning.
I ahve auto hubs but they were unlocked (took it on gravel and only spun rear wheels). I put it in 4wd then out again as i normally would but the front shaft still turns.
Any ideas on stopping this??

GQII Patrol YAY!!
in regards to auto ones breaking
this will most usually break if they are left in " auto" and are expected to do a hard days work.
The auto position is for the light duty stuff that you would usually thrash through in 4wd but have it 4x4 just so you can glide through
If you are going to do a days 4x4ing, put them in LOCK and drive away, they will last much longer this way.
