crack in t700 mounting

i have managed to snap one of the mounting holes for my t700 auto, was wondering if it can be re welded or if its a throw away?

the crack is right through the middle hole on the drivers side belhousing/convertor housing
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

weld it.

you can use an alloy welder ( mig/tig) or those super dooper sticks you get from carshows that you use with an oxy.

I've welded a few T700 bellhousings (Tig welded) but they are a really crap casting and a biatch to weld. Although the weld looked OK externally I know it was basically an aero bar inside. In cases like those I always warn the customer not to expect miracles.

We are Tig welders, gravity doesn't worry us.
