locker solenoid engaging?? hear a psssht sound when you engage/disengage the front locker?

is there an air leak in the line?

jack the front end off the ground and test it as u go along rather than on the track.

Basic question, but did you assemble the hubs the right way, and are they definitely locked in?

Who ever did youre cv`s has missed putting the ring back in in the hub. A Nissan person will know the bit I`m talking about and what its called but I think its just a spacer.

I had the same problem. It ended up being a faulty soleniod.

One other thing, most shops wire up the lockers so that the rear has to be engaged before the front will engage.

Kinked airline from the solenoid to the locker will do that too, check the lines first.

or hole in the airline from being too close to exhaust or other heat source

Check everything everyone else has suggested first, if all of the above seem ok, then it could be the o-ring in the locker itself, mine done that, and was pushing the diff oil and air back out of the diff breather line, but in this case you know something is wrong because the air compressors runs constantly. (same as if there is a leak or hole in the air line)

Cheers
