Hey Buddha, see you down there. i am leaving this arvo and can't wait to get into it.

Tyres are Max 36.5 measured. So my 37's measure in at 36 flat. all tyres are less then the printed size on the side wall. Scammers

Big roll over on the first day by their cruiser, on the waterfall track.
The boys will be hooking up with a new body after trials.

Had an awesome weekend myself, bogy fabed MK lasted all weekend with a couple of 100 pointers and was still able to drive it home. Might need a service though after the mud run.

Well done everybody.

Yeah I missed Al.. and his Charades... hmmm...

We had a great weekend. Managed to see the 80 roll right in front of us. Apparently it was his wife's mother's friend's cousins car? Can anyone confirm this?

Only complaint was, yet again, the running order killed it. Some courses had no one, yet due to the running order, some courses were still running to almost dark (again, need confirmation of this). Can someone, from an official point of view, tell me why the running order is so important?

Other than that, great weekend! Good to meet a few more outers folk!

Pete with the purple 40 didn't do any real damage with his flop, on the sunday though, he was out due to breaking a transfer case or gearbox on his event.

I'm not sure how our club came in with total points though i'm keen to know too.

The cruiser im talking about kept going on the sunday with GLAD WRAP for his windscreen.

He rolled on the waterfall course just before i did the run.

Twas the night Willowglen ended,
Drop Bear gained 2nd place.
Not even ultimate sadness
would wipe the smile from his face.

Competition Rookie,
Almost undefeated.
Until on the trip home
his rig overheated!

I said to the Rookie
"Calm down when you can
We'll chill out and rest
then come up with a plan"

We popped up the lid
and then realised,
"Radiator's got a hole
of a dismal size!"

Some race tape, some solder
chewy rolled into a ball
Little did we guess
it would do **** all.

Five k's up the road
And the next service station
It seemed to both of us
this nights destination.

"Dont give up yet
or we'll be here for weeks!"
I encouraged as I poured in
the bottle of Bars Leaks.

"Fire it up, let it run,
at least for a bit.
We arent going to beaten
by this little ****"

After fifteen minuetes
there was no more leaking
We were dancing like hippies,
metaphorically speaking.

We made it to Marulan
Some distance up the road
But that annoying little guage
still had something to show.

Turns out the crack wasn't it,
Only part of the drama.
What did Ben do
To deserve this kind of Karma?

"Ive got heaps of water,
we'll make it to Suttons!"
When it comes to punishment
me and Ben must be gluttons.

Three Thirty am,
it all turned to doom.
We set up camp
by the side of the Hume.

Moday's sun had risen
and i thought during the night.
"The radiator cap!
Thats got to be right!"

We jumped in my beast
which had not one wound.
Right foot on the pedal
and screamed down the Hume.

We had the new cap,
We filled up the block,
This time ten k's!
And came to a stop.

So close to defeat
I was calling a tow
But we decided that
there was much more to go.

The thermostat valve
was the next thing ejected
Another jerryload of water
and then it was tested.

We drove off again
in our two rig convoy
'till over the radio
came a very loud "OI"

"THIS **** **** AND ****
AND **** CAN GET ******!!!!!"
There were alot of words
that sounded like 'trucked'.

"Lets just get to Seans
and hand back the tyres!
I dont give a damn
If this rig catches fire!"

We rolled into Medway
the temp was on "Hot".
The radiator now must
certainly be blocked.

Ben pulled out the cooler
and it all went thud.
The bastard was clogged
with coagulent MUD!

How did we miss this?
I thought in dismay.
At least this disovery
had brightened the day.

The fins were cleaned
we were ready to go
Over just half an hour
We were on our way home.

As Ben flicked the blinker
And merged from the road
I asked how his comp went
And he gleamingly spoke;

"Thanks mate for the help,
putting up with it all.
Every minute was worth it
I HAD A FUCKING BALL!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Congrats goes to Ben for placing 2nd in his first comp out! Ill let him tell you how his driving went!
