Waterproof seat covers?
Waterproof seat covers?
I've installed some Suzuki x-90 seats in my ride along with a spray in bedliner...was looking to get some waterproof seatcovers. Now even though i have x-90 seats i think sidekick covers might work for me?anyone have ideas on where i might be able to find some seatcovers that would fit these seats snug?

Yep, neoprene... now there's a genuine weight loss solution!!!!
I'd suggest something breathable, but then again it depends on whether your passengers enjoy the whole sweat thing.
I've read about some canvas materials that would actually be waterproof while still maintaining breathability a while back. If I find the website I'll shoot it through / post it... come to think of it, it might have been Black Duck Canvas...
Located in us/georgia...but yeah great ideas...i looked for black duck covers on the internet but was unsuccessful...i'll keep trying...thanks for thr help!

I actually had the idea (could be wrong) that Uki was US-based... notice how the steering wheel's on the "wrong side" of the car in that shot of the seats?
Anyway, my searches have taken me elsewhere... hope it helps:
http://www.autoanything.com/seatcover (Aquatec is neoprene-based unfortunately)

They may not fit as snug on the seats as you'd like though... you'll just have to see...
Personally I got 2 sets of high-back bucket seat covers for my soft-top Grand Vitara which I picked up for AU$15.00 (each pair) at KMart and although far from a perfect fit (actually, they fit better on the back seats than the front... might get the front ones "tightened"... anyone good with a sewing machine?), hey, it does it's job... not waterproof but I wouldn't like to leave it in the rain with the top down anyway, and if I'm going to be getting in the car with a wet wetsuit on, I just put a beach towel on the seat before sitting down... worked in the past... should work in the future.
Good luck with your search! And post photos when you've put them on!
Cheers,
Luis

I've got the same engine on my GV... if you come up with any ideas for a slight power increase let me know your thoughts!
Cheers and good luck!
