is there any way you can tell the diffrence between 1.3 and a 1 L transfer case as a mate has 1 in his shed. not quite sure on what it is. cheers ron

The main difference i think is the 1litre transfers dont have an electrical switch to turn on the dash light to say if its in 4wd or not.

12% lower in both high and low range

Unless its been modded, a 1 litre t-case has smaller flanges and different stud pattern on the yokes.

early ones had no 4wd light, but later ones did.

If its a 4wd light 1.0 litre case, then the flanges swap over from the 1.3 narrow track case, but nuts need a lot of power to undo......I am not sure of the 1.3 widetracks.
