I need to know which side of the bellhousing the slave cylinder is on in the RJ70 Bundera that had the 4cyl. turbo deisel and the R151 gearbox.
I haven't got the box yet, mine has a fluffy G52 box at the moment but I want to put an old Holden 6cyl in it converted to run ULP so I want the stronger R151 box.
I can get a bellhousing kit to do it but they need to know which side the slave cyl. has to go on.
I was going to chev/auto the Bundy but I've decided to save that set up for a bigger 4wd. The old Holden 6 donk will have plenty of torque for a Bundy.
Cheers, sudso

Thanks, will the R151 bolt straight up to the split style transfer, same as the G52?I.M.P.O.S.E wrote:Mine was on left had side (passanger side) of the gearbox. Yes was in a TD R151 bundy.
I bought the Bundy with no motor or bellhousing, it still has the slave cylinder though and it goes on the passenger side too for the G52.
Just got to find meself an R151 box now in SA.
What other model yota's used this box? It would help me narrow down my search.
cheers, sudso

The R151 is a good choice for your Bundy, however it will not work correctly if you bolt it up to your existing transfer(g52).
The stub shaft on the transfer will need to be changed, essentially this means the transfer case needs to be pulled down and rebuilt. Your cheapest option would be to find a diesel bundy with gearbox and transfer and use that.
I will be reabuilding mine and taking advantage of some of the kits that Marks adapters supplies, better yet send the guys an email and see if they have some more info for you
cheers
