Big Zook will be there in Outlaw. Going to defend the title and without Peter in the yellow beast being there it should be possible

8. Raymond Terrace
9. 3RD Rock

13 Macarther Districts
14 Kamikaze

20 Southern Tablelands
21 Brindabella Ranges
22 Suzuki Club
23 Well Sprung
24 Gold Eagle
25 All Wheel Drive Club
26 Pro Outlaw 4x4 Club

Yes there is 26 teams this year, this was unpreventable with 2 fully compliant teams arriving at the same time. It was the only fair decision.
Just a reminder to bring your renewals up with you, and to go thru the check list to make sure the vehicles are all compliant.
Also, I need any changes now as we will not be accepting changes after the Wednesday prior the weekend. Thanks all.

Hey dudes, I'm in for some spectating and heckling. Likely to be driving down from Newcastle and have a couple of seats spare. Probably get there Friday arvo at this stage. What's the best way to go, by the way? Surely not all the way out to Singo?

ey Heath,

You can head to lochinvar and then turn off to go out via allandale road, then out via broke road, which brings you out to the putty road and go from there. I think we are going down on Friday afternoon sometime. I know Hekta is heading down Friday arvo aswell.

Yes. thats what I meean.
You would be surprised how many regos & insurances run out in October.
I have a data base with this info on it and you will be asked to produce your renewals at Class Verification. Easiest way is just take all the stuff with you in case.
Cheers

Convoy? I probably wont have the UHF installed though, and I think the handhelds will be shit on the road.

We have cleared extra camping space for this year, but it always dose feel crowded. I pretty sure we are not having busses this year. It costs a lot, hireing and cleaning. They always grumble on the state they are given back dispite our best efforts and if its ....you know (not saying the 'R' word)... not sunny, then they are useless anyway. Nissan club people are always running about so those who can't cope with the walking (not including intoxication) could ask for assistance.

It is almost dead on 60kms from the Windsor bridge up the Putty. They will put 3km 2km etc. at both ends. Then generally some bunting on both sides of the road at the eterance. And there is a small water tanker on the enterance that carries a flashing light for night time. Dispite all of that you will notice dirt tracks on the tar where everyone is going in and out. So....you shouldn't miss it.

 Less than a week to go now  :D
looking forward to meeting like minded 4b nuts :drinking:
and checking out their rigs

Wendy are they still using the old format of one car off each team to each track, or are each team car going one after each other, together .
I remember last year a mention of this to control chaotic line mix ups, and jumping in.

cheers Rob

Yeah, thats the way they will start you all - its the way I have entered you in the computor. So first car in your team will be on event 1 Sat and 5 on Sunday, 2nd- 2 /6 etc. You'll all be lead down the the events by each Event Marshall to start. I know there can be problems later when people break things and come back. They are not expected to slot back in line, and then things run out of order. Its hard. Generally you should be trying to stay behind the same truck all day.

I am in as a late reserve.

Never done it before hope the rig passes scrutiny.
From what i have read my rig will be modified class if anyone from the club has a bit of bad luck. One of did at willowglen hope they dont do that trick again.

For a window net will a lot of cable ties holdin a net pass?
What colour red do you want? I am guessing fire engine red.

Is it bad to wnt to have a run being a reserve? It means one of your mates have to have bad luck. I hope they do I hope they dont.

See ya there :D

window nets= cable ties are fine. All they will do is put a bit of force with there hand/fist to see if it will hold.
red paint..any red paint. use your wifes nail polish.

scrutineering= If your car passed at willowglenn it will be OK at the trials.

My rig was'nt at willowglen but one of the clubs comp team has had a bit of troubles with there rig so our reserve has moved up to compete and they need a new reserve so I put up the hand. I only found out last night so it looks like I got a busy week ahead.

The list tow hooks for the rear, front bar, window nets, rear diff, find a helmet, food and beer, replace the head

OK .you need the tyres in the guards/flares.2 rec hooks front and rear each.painted red.2 straps
with the nets i have 3 screws in the bottom and velcro stuff around the window.

if you dont have nets or helmets just take them off the car in your club that breaks down.not the best option though.
as they want to see them at scruteneering
