cloughy wrote:Nobody cares but it was back on the dyno again for another tune, 183bhp and its a crapload smoother to drive, got to get another trip in before the navnite but but not bad considering a stock 3.5 on the same dyno is 60bhp
Sounds good!!
183 is damn nice!!
Any recent pics of the truck?? Last pics i have seen it was still unfinished.
I'll get some pics this week, anyone want to host them and all that stuff, all the ones i had attached have been deleted
Nah haven't gone coil pack, that was only to fit an eaton supercharger cause the dizzy is in the way, but i think its more hassle than what its worth, may still look into a centrifigal pump, or up the comp to 10:1 or maybe leave it alone, not sure yet
Wanted: Car trailer or beaver tail truck, let me know what you got
Its just cut off with a 10mm plate across with enough room between the crossmember and the plate for this other highmount i got, when ateco sends the parts get some pics tomorrow

Thats a nice job there dude.
Tell me, i'm doing a few missions myself on a Rangie but i need to buy a welder. It would be nice to be able to take it away with me something you can't do with a mig, tig or stick.
I can get a nice tig for about $580
Don't know yet about migs and stick, well you get that with a or this tig i'm looking at.
However there is a mob in melbourne who sell a product called DHC 2000 Welder formely called Henrob 2000 which is based on the gas welding principle but their asking $699.00 for a hand piece and some nozzles, damb dear I think. Yet, it has a good write up.
What have you used on your mods, looks like some nice welding there.
This is what this gas welder is supposed to do and would be quite mobile.
1. Weld and repair Aluminium, Cast Iron and
Stainless steel to TIG strength.
2. Weld car panels & up to 1/2" thick steel with
minimum distortion
3. Save at least half the cost of gas and filler rods
4. Do the work of a $5000 plus 3 Phase TIG Welder at a fraction of the price
evanstaniland thanks for the reply.
I heard somewhere depending on the generator $$$$$$$ that the smaller once or cheap once have too much voltage fluctuation or something.
Beside welder and Generator ? $$$$$$$$$$, less to spend on my toy.

thats true, i know that the bigger comp fellas NEED them at comps such as WeRock and im sure it would come in handy if its at other comps, wouldnt bother bringing unless i had a base camp and tw rig!! But when your competing like the buggies you need to budget the price of the generator and welder into the overall cost!!
Eyby wrote:I have lt95 / C4 P76 Combo in RR Ute 4door single cab very interested in
info on ritters C4/LT95 conversion
I would buy one if want to part with them
wanna decipher that for us Eyby? and should you start a new thread, cause we're doing a good job of filling up cloughy's ute thread?
Speaking of utes i want more pics of the build..... well any ones build 2 door or 4 door disco or fender i want the pics of where the tray meets the chassis.... where the body has been finished etc... all the really tech pics not just posing pics. I am going to use a kit but it dosnt come with a destruction manual so its going to be interesting at times. And to make things really interesting i am going to try and graft my sun roof in to the ute roof to keep it fit for the queen!!

Then you can send on the photo's to me.
Maybe when we get closer to build time we better make a trip down to Cloughy's
The Ritters auto conversions are interesting and Shakes has a point with the decipher. The conversions weren't all C4's - some were C6's and some were C9's. The one I bought with a RR for parts I thought was a C4 before the reco/bulletproof when I was told it was a C9. It now sits behind a 350 Chev, crawls in LR and is magic on the road. I have talked to Noel at Ritters a couple of times about these conversions (he was there when they were providing the first auto box option and maybe aircon for RR's on behalf of LR Aus, in the world). It's an interesting story that probably should be fleshed out in the sticky section.
