been flowing the manual i already did it once but didnt sound right
im trying to do the tappet on my GQ 1988 tb42
with 1 on tdc which is the timing mark on 0deg
some tappet aint where there suposed to be some are going down while others are up , like ya can do 1in 1ex 2in 3ex 4in 5ex
but 4in and 5ex are slightly down and when ya move the crap a tade clock wise the gaps seem to grow
any ideas where im going worng

Remember that it's a four stroke.
TDC will only allow you to do half of the tappets as some valves are opening / closing when first cylinder at TDC.
A full 360 degree turn of the motor (ie back to TDC) will allow you to do the other half.
I don't have my manual in front of me, so I don't know the order, but you can probably search for it on here.
