yes and no...

you need to go and get an application for modification approval from queensland transport, fill out the form on what your doing and they will send you back an approval form, as body lifts are not modplatable there's no code for it.

Now wether Qld transport will pass it depends on what blocks are used, they need to be engineer tested and have a Qld transport approval No# printed on them, pretty sure that alloy body lift blocks arent approved but correct me if i'm wrong. ;)

Also I've been told that bodylifting a 4by with SRS Airbag It can't be done as it changes the airbag sensors sensitivity

can anybody clarify this ? any GV owners with BL and Airbags ?

well i've been through the do one anyway but got pulled over by QT and done for it among other things and wouldn't advise doing it with approval but hey...its ur money and license. Alloy blocks can be approved but i thought the process was send in for modification apporoval detailing what will be done and by who then QT must inspect it. This is the risky bit as it must go through the pits and they will check the whole vehicle. Places to get it done between brisbane and sunny...id suggest Lance at Suzisport Albion (QLD 4wd spares and repairs) or Mark at suziworx at eudlo if you can get hold of him. Reversible kit (only way to go) is usually around $300-350 and install will prob set you back $200-300?
