NH swb Torsion Bar length

Post by its fishi »

Hi all,

looking at getting some new torsion bars and springs. It seems there are 2 lengths for the torsion bars.

Can anyone tell me how far the front of the bar goes into the lower suspension arm?

I'm guessing the rear end of the bar is the bit visible at the back. I can't determine how far the t/bar goes in up front without removing it.

Any help much appreciated.

TIA.

:)

I am sure yours would be the shorter ones. The longer ones are for the 3.5/2.8 engines. I know that I need the longer ones for mine 2.8.

Thanks for the info, crisis averted. ;)

The owners manual had enough in it for me to work it out, and yes they are the shorter ones.
