easy diff ratio check !!!!!!!!!!! jack up ass of car and mark your tires with chalk where u can see it from under truck, turn the tires and count how many times tailshaft spins to one revolution of tyre !!!! that easy !!!! eg; tire spins once , tailshaft 4 and abit times u got 4.1 gearing
just a little left of insanity :)

Hey everyone!
i'm a first time writer, long time reader! I have a 99 GU 4.2 diesel patrol. I have recently given it a 6" lift with 35"s and for engineering purposes i would like to get the speedo gear mentioned to suit. To Bazzle and JK who supplied the tables, i thank you but sadly, comparing the 2 i am getting different answers. I have 4.1 diffs and 35" tyres on and sorry if i read it wrong but Bazzles table states that i should get 32703 - 31G 17 and JKs table states that i should get 32703 - 31G15. :? Where are you guys getting this info and which is correct? Thanks in advance and sorry for hi jacking this post (no one was using it for some time so i thought what the hey)! Also, i rang Nissan for a price, Does $40 sound about right for the speedo correction gear? Cheers again!!

Hey Bilby,
Yeah i considered them but would prefer to use them as a last resort. I only run one size tyre and would prefer the speedo gear due to price and not having to add extra contraption to what is already there. Will keep it in mind anyway. cheers!
