Thanks Christine for posting the results your a gem. All in all the weekend was great as everyone has said, its a bloody great event, driver and spectator wise.
We did crap again, starting to think we've killed a chinaman..... I just can't seem to ajust to the width & hight of the Nissan after driving a hilux for so long (ripper of a car too. Oh hang on I've got a cruiser too but that don't count.) I again ran over a pole, we were focused and aiming for top marks as we know the nissan is capable. Anyway yes there is always next year...
Again thanks for a top weekend

SO regarding the track..... Does anyone think it was easier later in the day due to the track being packed up so much? or easier earlier in the day when it was fresh??

i think when our 2nd team went through there was almost nothing to pack, so easier then??? what do you guys think??
All teams had the opportunity to unpack the course after they had run it, being a navi myself i was absolutely farked after running around packing and i wasnt about to go back and unpack it all, i think a lot of teams did the same thing. I know when our 2nd team went through i only packed one log in the wombat holes as they were all full.

I recon On all 4's has hit the nail on the head with the course this year, it was awesome! I recon its safe to say the best comp ive been involded with so far :D

An e-mail received on 19/08/07. Whilst this info was for team managers, I don't think there is any harm in making it public:

Hi everyone,

I am pleased to announce that today we received the go-ahead from Dargle to run this year’s Woodpecker Gully Challenge (the 10th anniversary!) on the 2nd December.

The usual date of the last Sunday in November has been changed because the Bridge to Bridge ski race is set for that weekend.

I have included everyone I can think of who may be involved in their club’s competition teams as recipients of this email, please let me know who the best contact for your club is so I can communicate with them in the future.

This week I will compile more information for everyone concerned and get it out to you, and onto our website.

Look forward to hearing back from you!

Regards

Christine Face
