my hilux has a surf motor with 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust, intercooler, and full custom air box and assoicated piping (3"), stock boost and mine goes great with 35's not gonna win any races but kills my mates surf and he runs 31's with auto.

Lexus V8 would be the go, if not then...

Boost gauage, boost controller, 14psi, 3" dump, 2.5" exhaust and race it...

No you're right... i got it round the wrong way... although 3" dump, 3" exhaust on a CT26 could work

you can fit 3" dumps onto the 2.4 surfs, its a tight squeeze. there is not a lot of difference between 3" and 2.5" but if your after ever little bit of HP......

yeah we know you can physically fit a 3" dump but the flange on the back of the turbo is only 2.5" so in my opinion you would only be kidding yaself!

plenty run them and get a bit more power than the 2.5". mind you we are talking directly off the turbo not the piddly little cast elbow that they have on them.
