The standard SWB Mav has a wheel base of 96" but with all the lifting and stuffing about with arms my Mav is or should I say was 92".
I hated it, to unstable, lifted wheels at the drop of a hat, ask Moose he has stood on the front to hold me from going over more than once.
Yes the new Mav will have a differant wheel base.  :?:

Mine is currently sitting about 5mm short of the 2400mm stock wheelbase.
I am going to stretch it out another inch or so when I get some bigger rubber on it, as I will be trimming anyway.. Climbing is fine, we climbed the hill at willowglenn that stopped some of the big-name trucks on 44's & sh1t. Not very gracefully, though :silly: Descents can be a bit nasty, they are pretty light in the tail..
With a bit of work changing the link arrangements they are bloody stable. I wouldn't want to wheel one with 6" coils and standard arm/link configuration, they tend to throw themselves around a bit.. :)

Why do you ask??
