hmmm.. what i want to know is how is the auto RWD box made 4wd?
i skimmed through the thread and you know i can't find any details..

Custom made Jack shaft from output of auto to the standard Sierra/Sammy transfer case, though its in a custom position.. It is a LWB so plenty of room.

I have a million pix of the build, can't put em all up, but if asked for specific issues, I can put up some of them.

A quote from the thread ....I say he ran the SR AUTO RWD box ;)

 but he also asked what Gearbox to use and that was what I was replying to ........so the thread should still be able to help ...... .....

Either way Id say he's going to have to use a RWD SR box .....unless adaptors are his fortay (sp)

the original gearbox was an sr20 front section with an early 240-260z or skyline extention housing witch also needed machining to accpet the larger silvia bearings.
it may still be for sale. you could find out through christover if its avalible.

hope that helps a little

Not sure how it would go in the zook, but the SR20 gearbox's are known to be weak (I am talking circuit racing here) People upgrade them to a RB25 (R33 Skyline) Gearbox.

Could be worth considering for the conversion...not sure how hard 4x4 is on the gearbox?

Price wise, you are looking at around $400 for a SR20 box, and $1000+ for a RB25 box....

If you are chasing SRs and RBs look at
