GQ extra batteries

Hi guys, would like to know how I can fit two extra batteries to my tb42mavs engine bay, ie. whitch trays do i need to buy to get a battery against the fire wall on the passangers side and one in the normal spot in front of the overflow bottle? also witch are the cheapest? What for you ask? Im goona be running a 6hp highmount in anger and it needs all the power it can get! any help will be great thanks!

if i remember right, for the ARB items, youd need to look at a TD42 diesel one to fit infront of the overflow bottle, and one to suit the RB30 to mount at the back near the fire wall, i dont think these will cause any dramas fitting close, but i havnt seen it done so cant be sure,

also, the RB30 tray uses a smaller battry,

you could always make your own if you have the right tools,

yeah i forgot to mention that, you may need to move coil, modify some wires to fit, modify aircleaner housing depending on motor typre, mod LPG setup, all in all a bit of work involved,

i didnt even think of the rb30 and im not afraid to move things seeing as we did endlessair where we moved p/steerpump.

I mounted my 3rd but in rear of car no room in my engine bay

Its the easy way get a battery box and a anderson plug so you can remove when not needed.

what do you need a 3rd for? Most with 3 throw it in the trailer

we have already fitted a deep cycle battery on a solanoide in the rear of the mav, i want to keep the wiring from the batteries to the winch as short as possible, ie; the engine bay.

When I shifted the batteries from engine bay to the tray I used the factory cable that linked the batteries (factory 24v) and with the batteries mounted at the very back of the tray, the cable was long enough and in total the distance from the - post to the starter was shorter than from the factory! If you use 95mm welding cable for the winch feeds then it won't matter where you fit the batteries. These cable are rated about about 800amps so no worries. I'm running up to 450amps 24v through them and they don't change temp at all.
