Tyres rubbing what to do

Hi guys, well I finally cut guards and got 33x12.5 fitted to some 15x8's only to find when hard lock left or right they rub on the radius/control arms, now what I need to know is what to do to fix this get different rims with bigger off set or spacers or what (just found out spacers illegal, is there some way of reducing full lock like steering stops)
Any help would be appreciated

Don't worry about it. It only going to happen at slow speeds. Or you can get offset rims from Dynamic Wheels which would fix the problem.

steering stops

there should be a bolt on the back of the disc brake (both drivers and passenger side) just unwind that a few turns i run 36" and they just rub with the steering stops wound out. Be carful they can unwind all the way out Hope this helps

Just went out and read my manual ( I KNOW should have checked there first) and found what you meant and wound them out and now have about 3/4" gap.

Except you tear lugs, when you lean on the wheel, for that real tight corner :oops: , best to adjust your steering stops

Yeah Justin C said the same, but the BFGs have not lost any yet - low speed as been said, and once you feel the 'vibes', you just back off a bit.

But...I totally agree that adjusting the stops is the best solution other than getting more off-set. And easy to do.

Yea centipedes don't tear either, but crappy claws (radial)i had, which suck by the way, did
