Does anybody know anything more about this than whats on the Js Root site? I've searched this site a couldn't find a reference to it. The Babel fish translation is hard to follow.

Yes I've seen those Cyclone engines before.
Mitsu had a high swirl induction system on a range of engines bought out in the late 80's. I looked at a conversion into my old Cordia turbo with a 2.0ltr Sirius "Dash" motor (150Kw) it had a 3 valve head, extra injector, TC07 water cooled turbo and the Cyclone induction system.
I've also seen 6G72 3.0 V6 DOHC 24 valve donks with the Cyclone set up so I agree with Mr Genius that it would be a 6G72 variant with a supercharger probably from the early 90's and from a sports sedan.

I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
these supercharger people came up in another thread... though all the mitsu guys might be interested in seeing what it does to performance and at what cost.
