have you tried to bend garden edging good luck its a damn sight more rigid than rubber and stronger than zook panels too before i made mine detachable i ripped them off repeatedly and the rivets pulled through the body metal before the edging failed so id say thats fairly structural
84 model hardtop, 86in wb, 36 iroks, locked front and rear, lux diffs, exo, power steer, fuel injected 4k corolla 1.3,auto transmission ,2in wheel spacers,3/4 elliptic rear
Glad you were able to take the advice and go with what was usable. off memory it cost me just on 60$ to do my zuki in the clark rubber stuff... Helps when u just go and cut it yourself yep its 2 meters worth... (really 4) lol.

got nothing to do with what I say or how good it actually is, I was told by VicRoads that it is not legal and will not be accepted as flare material. That is not to say that it does get passed by people, but why take the chance when you have already been defected or not passed by an engineer
rang my engineer today said it was fine so long as it covers the wheels and is fixed firmly to the body and is not flopy, wich it is. i must say it dont look half bad now i trimmed up the corners , dam not havin a camara soon as i get some pic ill post them

When i get the 31's on with the off set rims i will be off to bunnings!
On a narrow track do you have to take the stock flairs off and attach the garden edging to that bit of angle that the flairs are attached to? I would think so but just wanted to make sure!
Built swb sierra, building a lwb sierra ute and have a dmax for family camping
suzuki boy: Yep just remove original flare and screw on garden edging to the angle. Make them removable so u can take them off in bush and put them back on for road use.
i got some pic's
[/img] i recon they look better than the clark rubber one now, I EAT MY WORDS
now all i need is a set of 33'' to fill the gaurds lol
