My zook has 30 x 9.5 muddies on 15mm offset rims, and they only just poke out past the metal guards.

Bad Juju - Those pics were taken just after the sills were removed and the stonegaurd paint done, hence it was nice and clean.

Am sad to report that my rig will soon be up for sale -bad back means that 4wding in a hard sprung SWB vehicle is not so much fun anymore :(

have you tried to bend garden edging :?: good luck its a damn sight more rigid than rubber and stronger than zook panels too :D before i made mine detachable i ripped them off repeatedly and the rivets pulled through the body metal before the edging failed so id say thats fairly structural :D

got nothing to do with what I say or how good it actually is, I was told by VicRoads that it is not legal and will not be accepted as flare material. That is not to say that it does get passed by people, but why take the chance when you have already been defected or not passed by an engineer

After reading this thread on Friday, I went to Clark Rubber on Saturday.

By Saturday arvo my Vit looked like this.

When i get the 31's on with the off set rims i will be off to bunnings!

On a narrow track do you have to take the stock flairs off and attach the garden edging to that bit of angle that the flairs are attached to? I would think so but just wanted to make sure!

suzuki boy: Yep just remove original flare and screw on garden edging to the angle. Make them removable so u can take them off in bush and put them back on for road use.
