i believe they will fit i gave a bloke a head from a 2f and he recons it fitted his cruiser which was a f motor i think the manifolds are different though
Thanks boys for the answers. And yeah Andy,(Ironpaw), I didnt recognise you at first by your Outers avatar, but thanks for that link to Andrew Farmer in NZ, I will PM him, it may be more complicated than I thought.
And yeah Dirty Rock Star (another 3rd Rocker) its just that my 2F has lost a little power and gives a puff of blue smoke on take off , the motor comes out of a gassed 60 series which I honed, (and found it to be 60 thou over bored) re- ringed and did the big ends. so I reckon the seats, guides and seals are gone in the head. I have my old 155 F head here which had a little work and gas seats installed, and if possible would like to use it. And if there is a compression/power benefit .....Bonus....
Yes hj47, the extractors will fit the F head as they origionally came off it. Its just that the F head doesn't have a bolt on the front exhaust port, I might have to look at tapping one in.
Gaz....3rd Rocker
Old 40's last forever as long as you keep fixing the buggers...
