G'day Yarno,
Thanks for your reply. I'm looking forward to any pictures you take. Did it make much difference to the engine performance? I see most of the aftermarket ones go from about 74Kw to around 90-95Kw so I'd imagine the Jackaroo one would be much the same.

Did you cut a hole in the bonnet too?

Thanks
-Stuart

Yep here are some pix of my cooler, I have not cut the hole yet but there was some increase in power noticed even without... also the MU 2.8 engine is rated at 81kw standard unlike the Rodeo!![/quote]

Good Stuff Yarno,
Looks pretty good. I see where you had to rotate the inlet housing.

Thanks for posting them.

i put an intercooler also in my pick-up with the same engine. difference is i put it at the back of the grille. did not notice much improvement though. the only advantage i guess that it performs well when the weather is hot just like when its cold. i guess i have to up the boost a bit due to the long tubings to compensate.

Yarno,
Where did you get the intercooler from?

I think the place where I got it from was called

http://www.findapart.com.au/home.html

it was $200 but if you want you can get them from

http://www.4x4isuzu.com/

There about $400 and they come with all brackets and bonnet scoop which I didn't get....

Cheers Yarno.

You will find that the Rodeo can also generate around 81kw with a small adjustment to the injector pump, most dyno tunes can do this in a very short period of time. :)
