Hello you sierra virgin!

I have a 2inch lift on mine with extended shackles that lift it another inch and the standard brake lines and every thing are still good!

I need some new 2 inch lifted springs for mine and have heard OME or king are the best to get!

First of all are you looking for lift or flex and ride ?

if your looking for lift then tjm / king are good as there not as harsh as other. i have kings in my zook at the moment but will got back to ironman when I wear these out.

That said I use a custom pack made from Ironman leaves ( using the standard front and rear packs just changing them around ) and it flexs well while still holding the lift a bit better than the others.

The ironman are a harsher ride ( even with the custom packs ) but i find it works well.

If your going for flex I wouldnt use Kings again as they sag to much when removing leaves trying to chase flex.

Cheers Nick

I have only every used and recommended OME in the 13 years of playing with Suzukis. They are the softest riding and most flexible springs available.

If you are handy with the spanners, buy heavy duty all round and then remove leaves as you require to get the right compromise of lift/ride. The heavy duty front springs have a full length secondary leaf that helps to resist the springs bending at the rear mount.

OME shocks are fine too. Resist the temptation to choose your own shocks based on the new lift height. Sierras are only designed for 5" of travel front and 6" rear, and without longer shock mounts and bumpstop spacers you will not increase that figure.

Be aware that with heavy duty springs (and with many other companies 2" springs) the car will be very close to full extension when unladen. this will make for a choppy ride and awkward off road behaviour, Which is why I recommend pulling leaves until you get what you are looking for. OME will basically only offer you two grades of spring so you are better off to do this yourself if you have the ability.

Just fitted OME springs to mine, rides heaps better than it did before. Even after i pumped the tyres us (have been running at 10psi for weeks  )

Have Bilstein rear shocks, still working out the front shocks.

My front springs have one retainer bolt removed as the 31" tyre was rubbing on them (most rearward retainer bolt). All springs still in place as i'll be fitting a bar and winch very soon.

The rears have the two lower "load" leaves removed.

As the others said ome springs are great and are also the cheapest . I think they only do 40mm lift though ? Maybe 2" springs and 2" body?

Depends on whether you go with medium or heavy duty springs, but IMHO with stock shock mounts etcetcetc you don't want more that 50mm of lift anyway.
