Has anyone tried an AGM, and specifically a Fullriver AGM under their bonnet? Did you have any problems with it failing due to heat?
Thanx
Paul

Hi me3, AGMs usually fail under the bonnet because of a combination of heat and a voltage level that is too high when charging the battery in high temperature conditions.
A number of AGMs are designed to tolerate heat and high voltage but when not sure, if it’s convenient, try putting the battery inside the cab. Because of the better temperature conditions, the battery can take pretty well any voltage level.
Cheers.
