mounting a laptop

Post by GQ Bear »

I want to fit a laptop in the cab of a gq for navigation. who's got some clever, intuitive ideas that work well? I'm not afraid to screw into or chop dash, so fire away. pics would be nice if you got em

thanx

touchscreen sounds good. But as i'm keeping costs to a bare minimum i'll probably just chop into dash to mount laptop. Once i'm done i'll post pics :)

This is my mates table in my truck. I'm making another the same ready for the Best of the Best Navrun later this year. Easily hooks on or off, no damage to the vehicle and is very strong. We did 4 Navruns with this and numerous other trips with no dramas.

Nope, it's easy to get in or out. Still quite a distance between table and stomach, unless you a real big ass.

Can't see how that could kill you in an accident. All your head could hit would be a key board.
