GU Patrol Remote central locking

Someone familiar with factory remote central locking on GU's. Have the poverty pack GU wagon DX ( as good as the others without the bells and Whistles). Got a hold of a Factory remote along with the remote sender unit that bolts to the right just above the clover box. It was off a 2002 ST mine is a 2000 DX.
After plugging it in to wire that was taped back onto harness went through the programing procedure only to find it unlocks/locks all doors except the drivers door. Why is this so???????

the procedure is sit in drivers seat and manually lock drivers door, then insert and withdraw key seven time in 10 seconds until power door lock unlocks the drivers door then turn key to
ACC and then lock door manually within 3 seconds, then hit any button on remote and the doors should unlock indicating the remote has been programed. Did all this several times and the outcome was all doors except the drivers door unlocks/locks with the remote.

Not sure but will be interested to hear the result as this was a mod I was going to look into for my DX as well.

Is there a motor thingy for the drivers door that activates (cant remember its name)? When I wanted an alarm fited to 626 they told me I needed anotehr sender for the drivers locking thingy.. maybe they were enlarging my rectum for money.. but worth asking.

pretend u want an alarm fitted, call a few places, they will say if it needs one or not...

So guys whats the fix????
When The drivers door is locked/unlocked with Key all door unlock/lock, so what sends signal from drivers door to other to open all of them?

buy the actuator thingy and wire it in with the rest I would guess... not totally sure, just knew thats what the alarm fitters told me it needed

just dont get the buck buck key ring unit wet! thats my advice

The fix is, you need to install an actuator into the drivers door.

You can purchase them through jaycar electronics.

The actuator is a little motor that goes to and fro, (lock and unlock).

Not to sure on what wiring needs to be done as i had a new alarm and that controls the central locking for my DX.

get an alarm on your car and that can work your central locking you can spend what ever you want
