transfer case oil leak
Moderator: -Scott-
They would have removed the tailshaft, which allows oil to run out of the transfer case.
There are two reasons this is dripping now. Either they pinched the seal putting the tailshaft back in and it is leaking, or some oil dripped into the dust cover or cross member and will continue to drip until it is all gone.
Get underneath, clean all the oil up from the cup and crossmember and see if it keeps happening.
If the seal is stuffed it will be losing quite a bit of oil and should be fixed quickly.
Check the oil level as they may not have topped it up after the leak.

AS crh said - it may not be still leaking but just what is cleaning itself off after the tailshaft was removed as when thats done the oil flows out!
By the sounds the seals are easy enough to replace
