Sorry the 54mm socket is for a Toyota bearing nut.
The ad says for GQ as well but GQ bearing nuts are 52mm!
A mate bought one of these 54mm off fleabay to do his GQ nuts and of course it rounded the nut and flared the socket out as well (rendering it useless) before it even got to the initial torque setting. Gee, wonder why?

And who puts a 3/8 drive hole in a thin plate socket that has to pre torque a nut to 140 odd ftlb?

Do yourself a favour, pay the 70 odd bucks and get the right size one from Bursons or somewhere thats good quality, like ABW or something and has a 3/4 drive.
Best ones are the Litchfield or SPX Tools ones if you can still get one. Drop forged strength and quality!

GU is the same as the GQ RX which has the locking nuts like this

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-GU-Patrol ... m153.l1262

the gregories manuel has a diagram of a tool you can make to suit these, i can post up a scan of the diagram tongiht if you like.

basically its a flat piece of steel with 3 holes drilled in it, one in the center and the other 2 spaced to suit the 2 large holes on the wheelbearing nut.
