Im running 35" simexs on 16 x8 rims witha 4" lift and dont have a problem and i dont see you hving a problem with a 3" lift. It might just scrape on the inner rear gauds on full flex but only just. Nothing to worry about.
Was at the local 4x4 shop the other day and lined up 35" simex with the 36" and you would be lucky if there was 1/4 inch between them.
Go either way and you wont have a problem.
Fantastic tyre you wont be dissapointed.
