a mate of mine has a gq 4.2diesel with a after market turbo i think for a diesel his economy sucks what do some of you guys get ?????? and he is running 285s

I get 11.5/100 sitting on 100-110 but thats with 31's. I'm happy enough with that. I would expect it to be worse with bigger tyres.

i get the same on 33's. i drive very conservatively tho.
96 GQ LWB, Rd28T, nothing exciting, but CLEAAAAAN. 2" Kings flexy's, long shocks, custom dump, 3" zorst, fuel screw meddled with.

I get around 13 to 15, but i don't drive that conservatively, get more on the hwy and less when offroad obviously.

My economey never changed when I fitted a turbo, 11L/100klm around town and 10L/100klm on highway with 33s.

I get 13-15 fully loaded for camping, standard gearing with a lift and 35s.

That is some nice figures. I am averaging 12l/100 around town on 31" mtr's. And that is un lifted.
