Mate get along to your nissan dealer and ask for this :- 09621-80901AU & 16826-V0700 This is a plate and o'ring . The problem is in the pump start piston area , this plate is a Nissan fix part to push the start piston to a fresh part of the bore . The plate is located on the drivers side of the pump and is eaisly accessed . Simply fit the plate and o'ring , keep the old plate as it would need to be refitted to check the pump timing . This will usually only last about 60>80000 km then you will need a new pump housing and rebuild .
Nissan came up with this to get them out of warranty before they died. :bad-words: :bad-words:

injector pump

Post by patrol28 »

if you rebuild the pump now instead of letting it wear out its just a kit and not a new housing alot cheaper mine was $800 instead of the $1500-$1800 for a full rebuild ..

ask around and fine a good injector pump place it pays to ask a few differance place who they'd get to do it ..

nissan 98 gu 5" lift 37 creepys, 80%reduction gears, front locker and a gen3 and no money.

A good diesel shop will sell you the same part a lot cheaper, the fault is with the pump housing and this plate is a mask type affect, the only real solution is to replace the worn pump housing, cheer Phill.
