60 series rear disc conversion about to get under way.....

Post by flyology »

Ok, I am about to start the rear disc conversion on my HJ61.

I am using Subaru calipers (the ones to suit the 18mm wide vented discs) GQ rear discs mounted over 80 series rear hubs. (I have an axle widening kit fitted to the front, running IFS lux hubs)

I am after the spacing between the inside of the disc and the mount for the caliper. Anyone got a Subaru Brumby??

the rest of the braking system includes forunner 45mm piston front calipers, and 80 series booster and master cylinder, and an adjustable proportioning valve.

will post picks of the brackets I have water cut (last year..) and other bits soon...
