NJ Front Diff Swap

Post by barneymutt »

Hey all,

I'm about to swap my front diff (NJ auto) for a manual diff.

Can anyone tell me what I'll need before I get started.

Never done this before so no idea what I'm in for.

Am I likely to need any bits and pieces or special tools for the job.

I don't want to get half way through the job and find I can't finish because I don't have everything (but I suppose you can never know).

I have to swap over the axles and cv joints from the old diff to the new one.

Any and all advise will be most appreciated.

Thank you.
