Im sure this has been covered before and I tried searching but I couldnt seem to find what I wanted to know. On here and other forums. :(
Does a chopped down LWB cab that ends behind the front doors bolt straight onto a SWB chassis without too much drama?
My rear body mounts have torn through and I wouldnt mind a ute but I hit a tree not long ago so my front end is bent and starting to rust. :(
Im thinking I can do it in the garage over time then swap it once the mods are done and the longer cabs are easier to come by.
Thx

LWB extra cab on SWB chassis?
LWB extra cab on SWB chassis?
SWB mav. Some mods.
Depends where it is cut. The difference between SWB and LWB cahssis's is in front of the rear wheel arch. At that point there is the extra length added and an extra body mount. So if the LWB cab still uses the extra body mount then making it fit a SWB will be a lot of work.
