Just checked compression having done 5000k's on the new rebuild. Readings 1-2-3-4 were 180-180-180-190psi. Results were consistent for 2 separate runs.
Suzuki service manual says "200psi / 400rpm" - is 180/190psi okay? Got no idea how many rpm it's actually doing turning over without firing, but I would suspect its considerably less than 400rpm ... probably more like 250-300rpm.
Compression tester is a cheapo Trisco from Sprints ($40), so not sure how accurate it is either, but at least the relative readings should be correct.
