i did a trip down south from Perth to Narrogin (bout 220k's) and the thing used over half a tank just getting there, speed limit is 100 all the way and i didn't push it at all, doing the same trip in my falcon i can go there and back (i don't go soft on my falcon either) and still have over a quarter of a tank (falcon tank is 68L)
ive read up that the O2 sensor can usually be deemed faulty if the car tends to "power band" at just over 4000 rpm, this seems to be evident and the thing also wont idle steady at times, but is there another way i can test the sensor before i replace it?
also the carbon cannister, seems to make crackling sounds, is this normal?
If anybody lives in the Perth Western Australia metro area and they know somebody that is really good with diagnostics in feroza's can you let me know please as im really pissed off and seriously regret not buying a Jeep right now, at least the extra fuel would have been outweighed by leather seats and air conditioning

Cheers Guys;
Trent
