Post by The pig67 »

Can someone please tell me when the Gu Hubs are set to auto and the transfer case is in 2 wheel drive should ypou be able to turn the front tail shaft freely as in the front diff is disengauaged

My one you can't where as in the GQ with manual Hubs you can

Curious if this is normal or not as the fuel consumption on this thing is horrendus

Thanks

Hi
with auto hubs set on auto , no you cant spin the front tailshaft as the hubs will " auto lock" if you dont turn the shaft, the hubs wont lock.

Gooday, i removed my auto hub gadget and you could turn your front shaft. Obviously when you lock in your hubs manually you cant turn it. I replaced my auto hub gadgets so you dont have to get out for those not so very difficult drives
