what system are you looking at?
pertronix are available for the cruiser
and i ran a crane cams on in my lux and ended up pulling it out and putting a standard electronic dissy in from a later 4y motor
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

Gday mad, got no idea what system, I've seen a few advertised on flea bay etc. and thought I'd ask here before just grabbing one......

pertronix seem to be a good cheap system but there are people who have had dramas with them and the crane system is fairly exy i had dramas with it but i gave the car a real hiding.
just put the pertrinix in the missus car and the improvement was amazing no dramas so far

Ive used the crane fireball in my rangie for about 3 years now with no probs im also keen to see which system works best in the 3F ive seen the ones on ebay wich are a compleet dizzy swap for around 300 bucks ..
For the moment im happy to keep the points and carry a spare set as i cant see the point in spending 300 bucks on elec dizzy in a truck that only cost me $500 to buy :D
Cheers

I've been using a modified VK commodore EFI dizzy in my 3F, works a treat with no problems. Starts to miss a little after hitting a deep mud hole at like 50km/h havent tried at all to seal it up etc yet
