im just trying to get my shortys shaft running right. i have 18mm longer lower arms and adjustable uppers with a factory shaft not dc. iv started to roll the diff forward and vibs have got worse. do i keep rolling it to the exact right angle or will it be imposible to get right with this shaft? please help asap

have you just done the lift?
what condition are your uni joints in? if they are old, the needle rollers can wear into a bit of a groove, lift might have shifted them enough that they now run back and forth over the ridges.
this is more likely in a shorty, coz the shaft angle will have changed by more than it would in a LWB for the same lift
pinion angle should be within a couple of degrees of being the same as the transfer case output angle

pinion angle is pretty close to transfer output angle, i will change the unis this week, the lift has been in for a few months, but was running pretty good after the lower arms but im just trying to get it perfect80's_delirious wrote:have you just done the lift?
