I am looking at buying some new rims fr my 91 sierra SPOA running 31" tyres.
Would like to know if it wise to run 10inch wide rims or is 8inch wide the limit.
I love the look and style like this from a few dealers like mickey thompson or egale alloys.
I had 15x8 with a decent offset running 32x11.5 with 2" body lift,
2" springs and had to fit 3" shackles but came to the realisation that they are just too wide for a sierra unless you want to run 2" spacers all round.
A 10.5 tyre on a 7-8" rim is best for even up to a 34" tyre.
i run 35"s on 15 x 7 with the centers cut and turned inside out, and the rims are engineered, road worthy and been doing it for two years on the same wheel bearings never had a single issue.
